Peru Community Church is a place where we want you to encounter God at work in your life. PCC is a place where neighbors help neighbors and God’s love abounds. Each of us is on a journey in our faith. Some of us are beginners and some further along the path, but all of us stumble and need someone to pick us up and set us upright again.
If you are looking for a church to call home, you are invited to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at either 8am (more traditional) or 10:30am (more family focused). Communion is served each week at 8am and monthly at 10:30am.
As a blended Presbyterian (PCUSA) and United Methodist congregation, people from many traditions have found a comfortable home at PCC. This is a place where you will be accepted as who you are and be encouraged to grow in your faith with us.
All are welcome to worship with us.
It is my honor and privilege to have been appointed to this beautiful gem in the Adirondacks, to share my faith and walk with you on your journey. Along with worship, education and mission, my role as Pastor is to help you find your place in the community where you feel loved such that you can grow in your own faith.
Raised unchurched, I found my faith during those trying years of raising children and balancing a busy worklife. I was blessed to find a church home that loved me and my family, accepted us just as we were and helped us find our balance. I believe this is the strength I bring to my ministry.
I received my M.Div. from The Theological School at Drew University with a focus in youth ministry and am ordained in the United Methodist Church. I served churches in the Binghamton and Oneonta areas before coming to Peru Community Church in July, 2016.
