We Have Classes For All Ages!

 Pre K and Kindergarten children meet in the Nursery behind the Sanctuary.  Grades 1 and up meet in the Fellowship Center. The children use the Rock Solid curriculum.  Adults meet in the chapel where Bob leads the Bible study. All classes start promptly at 9:15 am.

Youth Groups

 Sunday, at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Center; Middle School and Senior High Youth Group meet for the year.

 

Middle School Youth – Grade 6-8 – Are encouraged to attend.  You don’t have to be a member of Peru Community Church; you just have to want to be here.  This year the Middle School group is under the direction of Lana Knight, Director of Christian Education at Peru Community Church.

 

Senior High Youth – Grades 9-12 – From any local school, church or country are welcome. Last year we had several active exchange students in our program and kids from three area schools.  They meet weekly for team building activities and discussions. The Senior High group is under the direction of Doug Garrand, Amanda Connelly and Bob Svenson with the youth leaders running the worship service and discussions.

The weekly Women’s Bible Study Group is gearing up for another season of friendship, fun and fellowship.  All women are invited to attend this weekly discussion group.  The meetings are held in the homes of members on a rotating basis and are led by Deanne Price, member of the Peru Community Church. Join this group of women at 9:15 a.m. every Monday. Call the church office (643-8641) or Deanne (643-6676) for meeting locations.

A Great Day!

 The photo was taken on Monday, July 13, 2009 at Sunderland Cottages on Paradox Lake.  Susan Sunderland hosted the group for a day-long event including a tour of the cottages and property, a brief Bible Study, a potluck lunch, and a long hike.
